Get out and about this week to celebrate Exeter’s very first walking festival!
This exciting event, taking place from 12 September until Sunday 20, has been met with fantastic enthusiasm and support from residents and organisations alike, with everyone wanting to get involved.
There’s been something on for everyone, whether that be an insightful History Heritage Walk, a delightful dog walk exploring Ridgetop Park, a women’s-only adventure with Rambo Rambles, and more!
Furthermore, there are a range of different walking sports sessions to give a go for those looking to develop their sporting skills whilst meeting new and friendly faces.

These events cater to a wide range of interests and walking abilities, aiming to make walking accessible and fun for all in a warm and welcoming environment. In addition, they are being hosted at different times and locations across the week to make them work for you and your schedule.
It doesn’t stop here though. Many of these groups continue to run throughout the year, making this the perfect time for you to give them a try. You never know, you might find your people, your sport, your inspiration, and decide to make lasting change to your life for the better.
You can check out which events are still to run across the week here or by visiting the Nature In Exeter website.
